HSBC Insurance Brokers launch GREEN
HSBC Insurance Brokers have launched GREEN (Green Renewable Environmental Energy). This new insurance facility has been introduced to address the expanding insurance needs of the emerging renewables market.
With a capacity of US$276 million, the product covers construction and operational risks facing the green energy sector, including offshore and onshore wind farms, wave or tidal installations, solar, biofuel, biomass, hydrogen, geothermal, waste-to-energy and hydro-electric power facilities.
