HSBC Named a Top Corporation for Accountability

HSBC Holdings has been named in the top five global corporations in terms of accountability and building corporate responsibility into its day-to-day operations. The results are published in Fortune magazine.

Now in its fourth year, the rating, conducted independently by international think-tank AccountAbility and csrnetwork, draws upon companies' public data and measures accountability using four criteria: strategy, governance, engagement and impact. This year's rating additionally includes performance data from investment research provider ASSET4, on key global indicators covering environmental, social and governance issues, such as progress towards climate change targets.
