Hang Seng Bank was named the winner of the award for Environmental Excellence at the 2007 Asian CSR Awards. Environmental initiatives such as energy efficiency and water-saving measures contributed to the recognition at Asia's premier awards for good corporate citizenship.

The awards are organised by the Centre for Corporate Responsibility of the Asian Institute of Management, to honour companies demonstrating best-in-class products, services, projects and programmes relating to corporate responsibility.
