HSBC Commit to change

Transport

As many methods of transport significantly contribute to global CO2 emissions, increasing the effects of climate change, HSBC aims to use conference and video telephone facilities, among other initiatives, to reduce our business travel needs. Nevertheless, transport is an everyday need and concern for everybody, including HSBC staff members around the world.

Each year, HSBC holds a worldwide photographic competition for its staff members to provide photos for its calendar. For the 2007 calendar, the theme was ‘Transport’; more than 2,000 entries were submitted from employees in 47 countries and territories.
