Malaysia – Reading and Writing Programme
The Reading and Writing Programme (RAW) was set up to help underprivileged primary school children improve communication skills in English while establishing a reading culture. Conducted by the Child Information, Learning and Development Centre (CHILD), HSBC in Malaysia has supported RAW since 2006. HSBC has donated more than US$85,000, including 460 sets of Ladybird books, to support the programme in 29 schools across Malaysia.
